My acer aspire 4315 laptop screen goes blank every now n then. if i just adjust it or tap it ,it comes back again.this is there for quite some time.my dealer isnt halping me.says some loose connection with the screen.pls help
The easiest solution is to Download a program Called ''Screen Mode Switch". It's a program that lets you switch between screen resolutions by pressing keyboard combinations. Instead of having to shut down your PC or put it to sleep you can save a lot of time by switching the screen resolution back and forth conveniently. Switching the screen resolution clears the white screen. It's a fast and efficient solution. You can download the program here ->http://www.download32.com/screen-mode-switch-i60507.html
The dealer may be right, there are two possibilities. One is your lamps or the lamp power supply is faulty, to confirm it is tha lamps, when the screen goes blank shine a flash light on the screen at an angle and see if you can any images on the screen, if you do it is the lamps or the lamp power supply, you need to take the screen apart to get at them. If no images it is the connection to the video inputs, to fix that you have to take the computer key board etc. Chech the connections. From what you say, it sounds more likely the lamp power supply connection. you may need to get a new cable.
