My Actifry has just developed a problem with the paddle turning but juddering and making a loud clicking sound

This is not old but out of warranty the paddle fits in properly it starts to do this after it has warmed up but not at the start when it is cold

The gears are damaged that drive the paddle.

How can that happen I am always careful with the machine?

I have no clue, contact the manufacturer and make them replace it.
