My alternator tested good battery tested good but still the battery light comes and van dies and the wires are grounded good and in great shape we dont know whats going on
Check the earth on the alternator [connect a volt meter between the alt case and the neg batt terminal] If you read more than half a volt then you got a bad ground on your alternator.Also check the resistance of the main wire going from the alt to the battery[also batt terminals [think simple]
I would think there's a short in the circuit somewhere that's draining the battery. Does it have a voltage regulator? It's possible that the power generated by the alternator isn't recharging the battery. It's also possible that one of the terminals on the alternator isn't connected properly, I had that happen in my hot rod once and it cost me a bundle to find out it was bad connector i could have fixed for 5$ I hate electrical problems.
