Hello:
You have cold solder joints in the power supply section, this symptom is call a intermittent connection. Resoldering of the cold solder joints near the power connector will solve this problem. When you hit the unit the bad connections make contact and when the unit gets cold again the connections open up again, Just resolder the connections the unit will return to norm operation.
