The problem you describe is most likely due to the fact that the machine you bought is designed to operate on 110v/60Hz electrical supply as used in North America. In fact the T-Outliner is only designed to operate on 110v/60Hz so even if you use a transformer you will only convert the voltage from 110v to 230v. You will not convert the frequency 'Hz' from 60Hz to 50Hz which is necessary with an electrical product with many moving parts such as a clipper to operate correctly on the European electrical supply which is 230v/50Hz........Check on ebay 'Voltage and Frequency Converter' about 65 pounds.
