MY ASUS 1225B HAS HAD THE HARD DRIVE WIPED IN AN EFFORT TO INSTALL WIN 10. BUT I CANT INSTALL WINDOWS 10. HOW DO I RE-INSTALL A OPERATING SYSTEM ON THIS MACHINE. THE RECOVERY PARTITION WIPED TOO
MY WINDOWS 10 INSTALLATION IS ON A USB STICK AND THE LAPTOP ALSO HAD MX LINUX INSTALLED.

The hard drive needs to be formatted and you need to have the boot order set to the 1 usb 2 hard drive in the bios.Also make sure your installation files on the USB aren't corrupt.The USB needs to be formatted before the installation files are loaded on to it.Make sure your laptop is Windows 10 capable.I think it should be loaded with Windows 7 first then maybe upgraded to Windows 10.Here is a link for tools you may need to get Windows 7 on the laptop after having Linux installed......(https://www.asus.com/Laptops/Eee_PC_1225B/HelpDesk_Download/).....Hope this helps
