My Badger 5 is leaking from a hole in the side, close to the top of the disposal. It looks like a weld might have broken and punched a small hole in the side. Is this possible? I did have to pull a foriegn object out of it that we had gone down and chewed up after the dishes were done. Thanks!

It is likely due to corrosion, the part is not likely available and the disposer must be replaced. You can stall (but not prevent) the inevitable disposer replacement by sealing the hole with JB weld.
