My battery will not hold a charge, the dash lights and radio turn on without the key in the ignition
On my 2002 Ford Escape I had my alternator and battery both changed in July. Now my battery is dead and will not hold a charge. while jumping it the dash lights and radio turn on when the key is not even in the ignition. My mechanic is saying it might be the computer??

The first thing is to check for a draw on the batterywith a dvom/ volt meter. check repair book the spects.load test the battery
