I appreciate your help, but it's a little more complicated than that. It's my own fault, I should've added more detail. Everything else plugged into the same socket works. The speakers plugged into the USB in the back are powered up and the Ethernet cable in the back of the computer has a blinking led. 1) Faulty Power On switch. (Located inside the plastic Power On button)
2) Faulty Power Supply.
Not to diss eMachines, but they're known for using low quality Power Supply's. Saves them money.
Your eMachines should still be covered under warranty. Suggest you contact eMachines Support for some satisfaction.

Try a differant socket or take it back to the shop where you purchased it.
