My brand new (out of the box today) eMachines el1352-03 doesn't turn on. The socket it's plugged into is ok. My previous computer was in the same spot. The speakers plugged into the USB in the back are powered up and the Ethernet cable in the back of the computer has a blinking LED that is on. But when I push the power cord nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Most desktop computers have a power switch on the back of the computer -- verify that this switch is in the on position. There is also a switch on the back of the power supply that tells the computer whether you are using 115-volt power or 230-volt power -- make sure it is set to 115 before turning the computer on.
it was the power source switch. It was set to 230. I set it to 115 and everything is fine. Thanks!it was the power source switch. It was set to 230. I set it to 115 and everything is fine. Thanks!
I recommend you try a different charger , maybe one from a friend it works you charger is the problem, if it doesnt the charger port maybe the problem or Did you drop it ? Because something may have shifted and is now not allowing it to boot up.
