My brand new zte merit z990g phone keeps reseting itself over and over again. Even after a hard reset (battery out for a few minutes, back in and power on) it just shows ZTE logo then the TracFone WIreless, Inc logo with power up sound then goes black and powers up again over and over... black then showing the TracFone Wireless, Inc logo again and again... Please Help. Bought it new from a store a while back that was going out of business and held onto it for few months to wait for my other cell plan to expire to transfer my number to this one, so that means no return to exchange

Sounds like the system image is corrupt.
you are gonna have to locate another image from the internet, plug the phone into PC via USB tether cable, and perform system update using either official software or perhaps a hacker app.
