My car dyes at night in the dark when lights atre on they go dem then the hole car shuts down i checked the battery its good and unpluged the negative chord with the car running the alternator works b
I notice the plug that conects to the altinator well if u take the negative cable of the battery car stays running then if u pull up on the alternator plug wires then the car shuts off but the car only seeems to dye when i got all my lights on at nigh

All I can say for now is when quickly checking if the alternator is dead, it's supposed to be the positive terminal that has to be disconnected and the only cars that work the other way would be VW. Also check the battery and the terminals including the ground to chasis. Check the battery voltage with a meter if you have one, it should be at least 11.75v. You could go to an auto store and they usually check it for you free of charge.
