My casio px 130 power input is broken, so I took it apart. Now I'm simply looking to buy a replacement part (the power jack) and replace it myself
I don't have a soldering iron (assuming I should buy one?), and need some advice on how to safely remove the part and put the new one in, also how to be sure I'm ordering the right part. Should I hire an electrician to do the dirty work or can I do it myself?

you need safety glasses
you need a steady hand
You can either remove the component first and take it to the electronic component store to find a replacement part
or take the piano to the store and open it up and show them the part you need to replace.
electrician will most likely not be the right person an electronic technician as the socket will be for a low DC voltage plug from an AC - DC adapter most likely.
