My casio TE2000 elec cash register, after I turned my key to PRG ( program ) and pressed 'total' key, it said V.4137 INIT....1 , does that meant it no longer usable this register?

Seems like u need to re-program ur Cash Register...
before that, Please try...
1. Key turn to OFF
2. Keep pressing [Receipt Feed] button
3. Key turn to PGM
4. Release [Receipt Feed] button
5. Press [Subtotal]
6. Key turn back to REG & try to use
There is no reason why the machine should do that just by pressing a key in prog mode, so it sounds like it had already lost all memory before you did that and it is warning you that it is no longer initialised. Has it been left unplugged for a period of time? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
