My chair was going along fine and then suddenly ground to a halt with just one red light constantly flashing at a steady rate. There is no drive! If you press the horn button a second light comes on but they still flash and if pressed again all five lights come on and remain flashing. This chair had been fully charged only 24 hours before and hadn't been used in the interim. Please advise

If the scooter was sitting unused for a long period of time, the gel inside the batteries may have gone solid and will not allow a full charge. You may need to replace the batteries due to the damaged cells. If you know the brand of controller that is on the scooter, you can look up the lights codes here:
