My chefmate breadmaker - The liquid and flour don't get mixed
My chefmate breadmaker - The liquid and flour don't mix sufficiently in Standard mode to make a loaf. I end up with soggy bread at the bottom, and dry flour with unmixed yeast on the top. I can hear the paddle start mixing after I turn it on. There are no physical observable defects in the paddle or the bucket's flange that engages with the motor arm.

Even though you hear the paddle moving, the belt may be slipping so the paddle does not rotate at full force. Please check the tension of the belt. You can access the motor, belt, pulley assembly inside the base of the machine. Also, please check to make sure the kneading cycle is run fully. Check the manual to see length of cycle.
