Depends on what the issue is. If you have a cable leak in your home and the noise is getting into your coax "ingress" then yes you can walk around all your cable fittings and tighten them all up. Ingress is white noise or voltage passing into your TV signal coax. This corrupts the data packs your box uses to get to the Cherry picker on demand server and gives you a no access display.

Or you can check ur box for a reset button or unplug the box from power and see if it resets on its own.
