My computer can't send information to my x5650 because there supposedly a document being deleted but it's been working on deleting the file for 5 day now. Answers?
If you have a Windows OS, you can delete the items in the queue from the Run command (repeat twice to delete and then restart) or the Command Prompt. From the Start Button, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt. Type "net stop spooler" without the quotes then hit enter. When the prompt returns, type "net start spooler" enter (again without the quotes). Once that finishes, restart your computer. (If you only use the stop command, restart and login to the computer. Then go for a coffee break.)
I hope this helps.
Cindy Wells (this set of commands has worked from Win2K through Win7; I think it also worked on older Windows systems but don't remember since my printers were parallel port and didn't have items get stuck in the spooler then.)
