My computer shut off on its own and now will start and then shut off on own and today turns on and doesnt shut off but states no signal on my monitor,what could be wrong?

Hello,
It is possible your graphics cards has failed. I would borrow a graphics card from someone if possible and install it in your machine. If this fixes the problem then your graphics card has failed.
It is also possible (but less likely) your monitor has failed. Again, try a different monitor.
