My copper piping inn my home is turning green at one location under the house. The plumbing was installed approx. 25 to 30 years ago. Is this going to be a problem? Should I get a plumber or don;t worry about it? Thank You Ed

Hi: Copper pipe that is exposed to the elements will turn green, but normally isn't a problem, though you should periodically have a look at it. If any of the "green" area starts looking puffy, or building up, it could be more serious corrosion, and could cause a leak down the road..
