My core controller just vibrates
My core controller works fine with ps3 games. But if I try to put in a ps2 game...it says it needs a duelshock 2 controller, and my core controller just vibrates and wont respond.

The problem may be with the game. some PS2 games are partially compatible with PS3.
When the controller vibrates and turns off use the wire to switch it on and keep running.
