My CTX LCD 15" S500 monitor's screen resolution and color depth are set at the lowest possible settings, and I cannot change the settings. I can hardly read the letters and colors are impossible to determine. Is there something I can do to fix this problem? Or is it time to buy a new monitor? I'm going blind trying to view things on the screen
First make sure graphic driver works fine and resolution is set to proper resolution. For that when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in "Enable vga mode" then go to start menu->control panel->display property ->settings change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok. if still same issue then uninstall graphic driver then reinstall. If still same then you need to change monitor if you are not able to reset settings of monitor to factory defaults. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
