My cub cadet modle LT1045 doesn't seem to be getting gas. The fuel filter looks clean. If I spray gas directly into the carb it runs fine but as soon as I stop it dies
Confirm that the choke is closing completely., Check that the fuel pick up hose does not have a air leak. Confirm that the vent hole in fuel cap is not plugged.(common problem) Remove fuel line hose to carburetor catching fuel output in a suitable container crank engine and confirm fuel pump is working. Remove fuel bowl and confirm needle valve is not stuck closed.
