My culligan water filter makes a gurgle sound
It is under the sink water filtration system for the drinking water. It makes a load gurgling sound and when you cover up the small air whole on the side it stops.

The reverse osmosis faucet you have incorporates an AIR GAP to prevent cross contamination to the RO system. The waste water first goes up the to RO faucet AIR GAP and then goes to drain. The "gurgling noise" is the waste water going to drain. Some of these are much noisier than others.

If it constantly gurgles it could be that your tank does not have enough air pressure to shutoff valve that controls water flow into tank. Valve should close when tank becomes full. Check pressure with tire gauge and add air pressure with bicycle pump as necessary. I use 8 psi for 5 gallon tank when tank is empty. Pressure will rise when tank is filled and it will shutoff flow valve stopping constant gurgling. It may take a few hours to work as tank fills with water. Check pressure ever 6 months. If it doesn't stop gurgling you may need to replace valve in filter assembly. Combination should solve problem.
