My daughter has a hughes modem connected to the reachnet network in in the northern territory Australia. It keeps asking for a password as she is not able to get onto the internet I am trying to help her
She needs to call reachnet and obtain her password for her account. if they can't give her that which is possible... she may have to create a new password to use.
If you are trying to connect the computer using a wireless connection then - Then the password proably the wireless router's encryption key (WEP or WPA or WPA2 code). This is part of the wireless configuration.
To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router's wireless settings configured and also needs the wireless cards in all the laptops and or computers to be configured with the router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.
