My DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum has a small attachment for vacuuming carpeted stairs. This attachment is currently not spinning its internal brush necessary to pickup the dirt on the stairs. The rest of the vaccum is working fine. The suction cap on this attachment is pulled out, as it should be. I have checked the vacuum over thoroguhly and there are no bloackages anywhere
The internal brush needs to be seated almost perfectly inside the housing...though I suspect you already considered that. The only other problem I've come across are carpet fibers wrapping around the spindle and causing it to jam. Wish I could be of more help. The internal brush needs to be seated almost perfectly inside the housing...though I suspect you already considered that. Make sure to extend the wand straight up and completely out of the handle and watch that you don't kink the hose.
