Is this an LG brand? I would need to know the brand to be exact with my answer, but usually it means the dishwasher has no back pressure to allow it disperse the water properly, this could be due to a leak in the drain hose or a leak in the door seal somewhere, or it could also be its drain hose is obstructed or incorrectly fitted or also a small leak, or it is possibly blocked with unused detergent & debris, but without more appliance details I'm so sorry I can't assist you further, but I would truly like to help you further if I could have more info ie model/make/serial number & age of appliance, I do hope this is of some assistance to you?
