My diff is making a squealing noise, is this a problem?
The differential on my scooter has been making a squealing noise. It happens whenever I turn on the scooter. I know this is not normal, so something is wrong. Do I need diff repairs?

Hi, that fault is normally caused by a bearing that is badly worn or been misshaped, now it does need to be replace.. what side is it , brake side and ? Do you live in the UK ?

If you can ,first check for fluid loss, if this doesn't solve the problem you my have a bad drive bearing. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
