Check the drain spout of the disposer where you connected the drain hose from the dishwasher and make sure you`ve knocked out the plug in the spout.
If not, with the aid of a long screw driver and a hammer, or a firm smack with the palm of your hand you should be able to knock out the plug. Then reach in the disposer and remove the plug you`ve just knocked out, reconnect the drain hose for your dishwasher and you should be good to go.
