Rob B is right - it's PROBABLY your impeller that's clogged. Hair & Debris can keep it from spinning, and then you won't have the suction to stick to the walls, or it'll stop all together. I have a dolphin s300, and my impeller motor was seized up. If you can't spin your impeller by hand, it's all clear in there, you have the same problem. I ended up needing a $450 Motor Assembly, sometimes called a motor controller. The only bad part was the impeller motor inside. I ended up opening the impeller motor, which was pretty easy, and replacing the bad internal ball bearing. Was able to buy that on amazon cheap! Here's how I fixed it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY3ylcD4JFg Good Luck!
I’ve been having this issue on and off for about two years now. There’s a pretty easy fix, or at least patch, since this issue will come back from time to time. Unplug everything, the power-cord from the wall outlet and the aquabot from the power supply. Turn the aquabot upside down and leave it alone for 5-10 min do any stored power completely drains. After 5-10 min plug everything back in and turn on the power supply with the robot still upside down. It will go through a test phase where it will spin both directions and various speeds. This will last about 30-40 sec. Once the test is over, turn it off, put it in the pool and turn the power back on. It should work properly. If the test phase only lasts a few seconds or more that 2 min. Unplug everything, wait a little longer, and start over again.

For starters, try the tip I posted here on Fixya, found at: http://www.fixya.com/support/r3651526-dolphin_pool_cleaner_wont_start_up. If that is not enough, try our sites FAQ section on Dolphins at www.arrowpools.net. Select the FAQ button then from the drop-down select Dolphin. If none of this helps your problem could be in the power supply, cable or motor unit. The motor unit is the most likely problem; the motor(s) inside it is probably failing. When the drive motor and/or impeller motor move you can assume the power supply and cable/electric connections are ok. Whether the unit is in or out of warranty you can either send it to a service center (which we are one) or try to repair it yourself however it is not recommended you open the cord end that connects to the motor unit as you are breaking the seal for the submersible electronics. You should also be aware that there are no parts available for inside the motor unit. If anything inside is damaged a whole new assembly is required. The motor unit for that cleaner is about $400 and when installed by a non-service center does not come with a warranty so you are better off sending it in for a complete diagnosis and estimate.
For information about the repair and sending it to a center you can contact Dolphin direct at www.maytronicsus.com or our site at www.arrowpools.net.

Sounds like clog in impeller or drive belts. Most often leaves or debris in impellar. Easy fix. Unscrew shroud and clean out.Sounds like clog in impeller or drive belts. Most often leaves or debris in impellar. Easy fix. Unscrew shroud and clean out.
