My Dometic digital thermostat wont go up past 32 degrees. What could be wrong?
When I try to set my thermostat, it wont allow me to go past 32 degrees. Also, the air conditioner will not come on. The fan works though.

Same problem...then discovered my thermostat was set to Celsius instead of Ferinheight... pressed toe temp up and temp down buttons to change..fixed...
Thank you so much!! We searched Google for an answer as we were having the same problem and found this forum. We are currently are at the beach and even though one AC was working fine it can't do it all. So we were panicking and seeing $ signs. Your response not only saved the original enquiry I'm sure but thank you so much bc it saved us as well.
It could be the set up settings. Limits for Heat, for cool, or differential settings between the two, may need to change heating setting to allow the cooling setting adjustment. A installation manual may include instructions but take note of each setting before and after for ease of reverting.
You need to read the manual. There is a maximum heat and minimum cool set point setting in the programming. Possibly they have been set at those points. You are contradicting yourself on the cooling, to bring on cooling you turn the temp down, not up. Make sure you are on cool.

First I tried the reset did not work. Then cleaning ends of wires with cleaner - did not work. Try leaving the unit on fan all night. The sensor can get moister. Leaving the unit running will dry it out, Tried it on mine when it showed 32d. on the front air. It did show correct temp. on rear air. When i got up in the morning it was reporting the correct inside temp. allowing the air conditioner to come on. I think it was a moisture problem here in Fla.
Indicates inside sensor defective or not communicating resulting in a/c being locked out.
I figured it out! Press both arrows at the same time it will give you proper readings
This is the correct answer and will put the readings back on f like you had before... Thanks
