My drive wont show on my computer and it makes a sound like dropping a ball bearing inside it. I cant access the drive to move my data off from it. it is an IOMAGICK external Sata high speed USB 2.0 250 GB drive. I dont use it except to store my data ocasionally. Most of the time it is turned off setting on my desk. How can I get my stored data off from it

Sounds like it has the "Click Of Death" if you have something on there that you really need it may be possible to run it for a short while after freezing it (wrapped in plastic film) if you're lucky. More than likely though it is destined for the bin.
