My droid is on the pattern lock page (i do know what the pattern is) but it wont let me put the pattern in. I have removed the battery and powered the phone back on and the same thing happenes it is just frozen on the pattern screen. There has not been water damage and the phone has not been dropped

You can hard reset your Motorola Droid phone if you want clear all of the target="_blank">power on. Keep holding the buttons down until a yellow triangle appers.
3. Press the Camera and Volume Up buttons at the same time to get to the menu. (I had to press them several times).
4. Use the direction pad to the right of the keyboard to select the Format option.
