My dryer doesn't cycle off. I mean when the timer gets to cool down on the timer its still blowing HOT air. Isn't it suppose to blow out cooler air at this time. Could it be the cycle thermo. tested it and it not blown
Good day, The principle is for the timer to break the circuit to the heating element either 5 or 12 minutes before the end of the drying cycle depending on whether it is permanent press or normal. Either the contacts in the timer have fused together or the heating element coils have sagged and are touching the housing causing a circuit to the element to be maintained. Unlikely any other cause for your problem.
