My dual is 10 years old, but has been rarely used. I ran the ERC board test, after the oven started making this loud drone after it was on for 20-30 minutes. # 7 Test, cooling fan appear to be the culprit, it drones during the test. I spoke with Dacor customer support, the "suggested" it was the cooling fan that needed replacement. I have the new part, now I need to walk my handy guy though the process of replacing it. I have no schematics and can't find them on-line. Were is the cooling fan and where and how do you access it? Is this brain surgery?

That would be great. I was able to have him fix/replace a part in my Bosch dishwasher, with instructions I found on-line. No such luck with Dacor. The burner ignitor assembly looks tricky and delicate to disassemble and reassemble. The last thing I want is a working oven and no working range burners.
Dacor is very tight with the repair manuals. I emailed a friend of mine to see if he has access to them so I will let you know something as soon as I hear back from him. In the meantime, look over the unit and see if you can figure out the fan.
