My electrolux canister vacuum roller does not spin even though it has power
Is there a simple sollution to my canister vacuum? The roller does not spin even though there is power and suction. Does it need a new belt? And is that something I can repair myself at home?

Take the floor attachment and on the front where you attach the wand there's a rubber like cover take it out,then you'll see a screw that you would need a star key driver,loosen it and the cover comes off,you'll see 2 wires,black and red,on mine the red wire came loose,just reattach and put things back together and you're good to go.

When the vacuum is one and the switch for on for the carpet position. There is a small button the the floor attachment which we call the power head. It will b in the place of where the head becomes L shaped its either black or red. Push the button while the machine is on. If it does not work call ur electrolux dealer and have them pick it up. Or call me I'm a dealer and can have UPS pick it up no charge for u 1-866-966-9350.
