Probably you will have to get a computer Technician to do this for you. Unscrew every single screw under the laptop and carefully, using a flat screw driver, split the two sides, starting from the front corner working your way round. You will notice finger-like clips that hold the two sides together. When you are done, carefully lift up the upper part of the laptop(where the keyboard is attched to. You will notice a piece of wire connected under your touchpad. Lift up the two clips(side-by-side) to remove the cable from the touchpad. Clean it up using benzene and put it back and make sure it is properly inserted. Take note that you do this with the battery and the power cable disconnected from the laptop. Then before you screw it all up, re-connect the battery and the power supply. Switch on the laptop and see if your touchpad will respond

This happened to me.. turns out i pressed a button accidently...
try pressing the f7 button, with the Fn button.
