My eureka boss power plus upright vacuum is making a terribly loud and has a burning odor. This vacuum has only been used a handful of times. Anything I can do?

The belt is slipping because something is binding up the brushes.
Mine never worked right, it has spit litter and dirt out the back, and onto our feet since day one!!!!!

roller bar if jammed.
if you try to run it much without fixing it then the belt will break
at least the belts are cheap
