Hi, from the posted question above, since you there is no light coming into the iron, it is likely a fuse problem which means the fuse is bad and it needs to be changed, but if there is light going into the iron and the iron is not heating up, then the element that produce the heat is bad and it also needs to be changed.
But first of all check to see that there is power supply into the iron and if there is then you change the element, but if there is no power supply, you change the fuse.
You take the iron to a nearby technician to fix it..
