My F8AE fuse from my Gemmy Light Show Controller just blew. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's to find a replacement without any luck. Is there an alternate part number or will another 8 amp fuse work?

Go to Napa Auto Partsand they have an 8 amp marine fuse. It is the fuse Gemmy uses. A box of 5 fuses costs 5 bucks. Hope this helps
I could not find this fuse anywhere. The fuse was 1/4 x 1 3/8" .Most standard fuses I found were 1/4 x 1 3/4" which was to long and would not make contact. I replaced the fuse Holder that would allow a standard 1/4 x 1 3/4" fuse to be used. Remove 7 screws from back and 3 screws from top ( under green label toward front) to open unit.
