MY fantom drive TFDU20072 200 gb has worked for years, but today when I turned it on it doesn't show up on the hard drive of my mac. the light is constantly red with a blue flash every second or so. it doesn't make any sound, and it does the same thing whether usb is plugged in or not. help!! Also, if I'm screwed, are there data recovery solutions you can recommend, I don't want to get scammed

Try the basics first. Unplug and let sit for a while before rebooting the drive. Then if nothing, get a copy of Disk Warrior and you may be able to regain access to the drive in order to save your data.
