One of the first things that come to mind is you have left a multiplug out or broke a wire or two but iam unfamilar with this american vehicle ,now a focus or mondeo our europeon ford models i might have a idea but this one i have no past experiance but i would lay a pound to a penny that you have left something loose or damaged a wire to the coil pack. But some vehicles have alternator excited by the computer and not self exciting and vehicles from about this year started using this system so try disconnecting the alternator small wires and see if it starts. Then look at the wiring loom for damage around the alternator area or a plug pull out .
