My Gaggia Coffee deluxe has stopped working - the water isn't coming through. I've tried descaling it but I don't think that's the problem - it sounds as if it's trying to **** the water through but it can't get through. This is the second time this has happened and it somehow fixed itself last time. Could it be an air lock? I would try priming it again, but I've lost the manual and the one on the website doesn't have the picture of the machine and the part numbers, so I can't understand what the text is saying. Desperate for a coffee
First check the end of the steam wand to make sure that it is not blocked. If it is clear then the pump should prime. Second remove the screen and screw in the group and make sure that it is clean, then without the screen try pressing the brew button to see if water will flow.
