Im gonna tell ya somthing you aint gonna like . These radios ate friggin junk. When the mosfets blow in the amp..if you dont get all the carbon cleaned out . They fry again. Your overheating the amp you need a fan on it. Or remove the amplifier section and run it as a stock dual final radio it will last forever...been there and done it. Trust me ..your tech loves your money bro.
Are you using heavy guage wiring ? Does your power supply have a variable power switch to allow you to give it more juice. Maybe you are pushing to many amps into it ?????????? there has to be a crack in the pcb board or a cold solder joint that is causing the problem . Has he checked all the components to make sure they are in working order . Install a 1n4003 diode across the positive power wire coming into the radio . It will act as a reverse polarity diode and if it blows then you should have him check as to why it burnt out.
