My hd light flashes, but is not found by my pc
I plugged my hd in with another devices ac adapter. It flashed once, and then stopped flashing. Now when i plug in my hd, all it does is flashes, and is ont foud by the computer? help?

Well, there are two sides to this problem.
When you use the wrong adapter for a device, you're walking on fire. If the voltage is lower then then it's suppose to be, you're probably fine, if it's higher, then you're risking damage. It also depends on the amount of voltage the original adapter uses. Say your adapter is 12 volts, and you plug in one thats 12.5, that's going to be worse then if it was 24 and you plugged in 24.5, the lower the number, the closer it has to be.
Chances are, from what you've said, is you've damaged your external. The good news from this is that the drive on the inside of the external is probably fine, this has usually been the case for me. Most likely all you'll have to do is run to your closest computer shop and buy a new external case. If you really wanna test the drive before you do this, pull the drive out of the case and hook it up to a computer that is turned off, then boot the machine and see if it works. If it does then you're good to go
