My house lost power and when it came back, my phone is now chirping every 15 seconds. I lived hear for 2 years with this phone and always had the ringer set to off. Its never done this before. I do not have an answering machine. I can't figure out why it's beeping (chirping) now every 15 seconds or how to stop it from doing it. I also cant get a dial tone on it. It is fully charged. Just chirps when in the docking station non-stop. Any thoughts?

The phone has lost contact with the base phone when the power was disrupted. so the best way to reset is to remove the power from the base phone - remove the adapter, remove the battery from the hand unit . Now reset and connect the power while it must MESH up. If not try to use the intercom call. If the phone does not mesh then there can be error in the base phone. Please repeat this once again.
Ok thanks. I will try that. I did however unplug the base and remove the hand held's battery already and the problem persisted. I will try again when I get home.Ok thanks. I will try that.
