My Humminbird Matrix 97 GPS indicates it is only getting 11.3 to 11.4 volts, however, when I check the plug at the unit with a meter it is getting 12.4 volts from the battery. The display sometimes shows a "low voltage" message across the screen during operation. What is the most likely problem?
I suggest you contact the manufacturer for a battery or an exchange unit if the battery is not consumerserviceable, (many aren't)I suggest you contact the manufacturer for a battery or an exchange unit if the battery is not consumerserviceable, (many aren't)
First of all i like to know how old is this? Anyway first you try a reset method - 1- Turn off unit. 2- press and hold the bottom right corner of the screen. 3-While still pressing and holding bottom right corner, press and hold power button and continue holding both until a white screen appears with a black dot. 4- follow the on screen directions and your unit will be back to the day you first got it. Good Luck!! Thanks

You need a new battery in the GPS plain and simple.
I suggest you contact the manufacturer for a battery or an exchange unit if the battery is not consumer serviceable, (many aren't)
