Ah, beyond what's in the manual? You can't. But you can take out the needles and run it full tilt for 5 minutes or so at a stretch, till it starts to loosen up again. Sewing machines (and sergers), especially the ones with sintered bearings, need to be run at least once a month for 5 minutes to keep in shape.
