On some IFB washers, the CH indicates that the child lock (control panel lock) has been activated to avoid accidental washer use. On the IFB digital 5 KG washer, you can toggle the child lock on and off by pressing the Soak Option and Delay Start buttons simultaneously. These are the second and fourth button for the Optional settings above the LCD display on this model. Below the keys, there is a skeleton key symbol in the center of a line drawn between these two keys.
