My infared heater no loner works by remote or manually pusings buttons. running constant
Replaced batteries in remote and tried to push buttons on face of heater. still running. wanted to lower temp.cannot even turn off. dont want to unplug it.

You may have a stuck bi metal t- stat try tappiig lightly on top by controller if you unplug prior to tapping onit it shound still come on when plugged in agian if its verry cold and comes on when pluged in then get a $4.00 timer and set at intervals tempory fix til you can locate a t-stat ,you may want to send in for service if you dont have skill set to repair it.
